Decorative Magnolia

This decorative brass Magnolia has a double use, in the 1950s this was a way of making the ashtrays quite literally more flowery. Smoking was a social event and the petals were used as individual small ashtrays for each person. The petals can be removed and put back to show an open magnolia or a closed one. The ashtray has a glossy finish and dimensions of 20x34x15 cm
